Adhesive application in Electronics

In Electronic applications, adhesives and sealants are mainly used for gluinga board down to a housing (substrate attach), sealing a seam, gluing down a lid or holding tall components or wires in place to reduce vibration damage (called 'fixating', 'fixing' or 'staking'. The primary purpose may be to adhere = glue or to seal. Many materials are called Adhesives or Sealants somewhat interchangeably.
